And sometimes you can get a bad moodlet from knitting if your sim decides they’re sick of it (don’t know if that changes as your knitting skill goes up).īut I don’t think you can go wrong with either one- laundry day is still in my top 3 favorite packs even though I don’t use the washing machines. Con for the knitting skill is your sim will likely autonomously start new projects instead of finishing old ones if you leave the knitting basket in their inventory (which is true to life for most knitters tbh, but a little annoying in the game). ![]() Pro is that it adds realism & the possibility to make more money, con is that it can be hard to sell things and they might sit in your inventory for days or expire & need to be listed again. And I like that you can teach other sims to knit! You can also sell knits and other crafted items (paintings, flower arrangements, etc) on “plopsy,” and make more than selling directly from your inventory. I knit in real life so I’m sure I’m biased, but I like the knitting skill a lot! Sims actually multitask it surprisingly well, so you can watch tv, socialize & knit at the same time, which means you could potentially be leveling two skills at once while also filling your social & fun needs and crafting an object to sell. I think the pros might be that a laundry room can look really cute, you can also get positive moodlets from clean laundry, and it adds more realism to the game, especially if you play a lot of families or use the wash tub & clothing line off the grid. They can catch on fire or break down, the clothes don’t always get clean or dry on the first cycle, you can get bad moodlets from damp clothes, you need to have room in your house for the hampers & machines.just not my cup of tea. This pack added a plopsy store that is like etsy, and some fun clothing and objects for your sims to create with their own hands. I never use the laundry machines because they’re too fussy & time consuming for me. The knitting skill was added to the game in July of 2020 when we got The Sims 4: Nifty Knitting which was the second community voted stuff pack. The main features of the pack are the new rocking chair and the knitting skill, it is the latter which is the key to unlocking everything this pack has to offer. Nifty Knitting Stuff has now been released and with it comes new skills, furniture, clothing, and more. ![]() Today’s topic covers new stereo stations. SimGuruConnor has released an official forum post detailing some new features players will see with The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting Stuff. They both have great build/buy and are two of the most liked packs, so imo it just comes down to whether you think you’ll use the laundry machines or the knitting skill more. The second community voted Stuff Pack for The Sims 4 is finally here. The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting Stuff: New Stereo Station Deep Dive.
